These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Digital Mail Box platform, operated by ARN Infotech LLC ("Digital Mail Box", "DMB", "ARN Infotech", "we", "us", or "our"), available at digitalmailbox.io. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Plain-language summary: DMB is a verified digital mailbox. Consumers receive mail from businesses at their verified home address. Businesses send communications to verified households. Both sides must follow these rules to keep the platform trustworthy.

Consumers

You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States to register a Consumer account. You may register only one account per verified home address (primary account holder). You may invite household members to share access to your inbox.

Businesses

You must be a duly organised legal entity operating in the United States to register a Business account. By registering, you represent that the individual completing registration has authority to bind the entity to these Terms.

3. Account Registration and Security

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately at security@digitalmailbox.io if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to keep your credentials secure.

4. Address Verification

Consumer accounts are tied to a verified home address. After registration, we will send a physical verification postcard containing a 6-digit code to your registered address. Your account is considered fully verified only after you enter the correct code in the app. Unverified accounts have limited functionality.

You may update your registered address through the address-change flow in the app. A new verification postcard will be sent to the new address. Your old address is deactivated once the new address is verified.

You agree not to register an address you do not reside at. Fraudulent address registration is grounds for immediate account termination.

Sending communications

Businesses may send Mail Items to verified DMB households using purchased Credits. Each send consumes Credits based on the current pricing schedule. Credits are prepaid, non-refundable, and expire 12 months after purchase unless otherwise stated.

You agree that all Mail Items you send through DMB will:

Geo-broadcast campaigns

Geo-broadcast campaigns are delivered to all verified households within a selected geographic area. Consumers who have blocked your business will not receive your messages. You may not use geo-broadcast to target individuals — campaigns must be directed at geographic areas, not specific named individuals.

Prohibited content

You may not send Mail Items containing:

Your account starts at Verification Tier 1 (email verified). We may require additional verification (EIN, state registration, sector licences) to access higher send limits or regulated message types. Providing false verification information is grounds for immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant authorities.

7. Credits and Payments

Credits are purchased in advance and deducted when Mail Items are delivered. The current credit rates are displayed on the pricing page in your Business dashboard and may be updated with 30 days' notice.

8. Intellectual Property

DMB's intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and content created by DMB, is owned by Digital Mail Box and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without our written permission.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content (Mail Items, attachments, and other materials) you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant DMB a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service — including generating AI-powered summaries and category tags for the recipient's inbox. This licence terminates when the content is deleted from the Service.

9. AI-Powered Features

DMB uses AI models to generate mail summaries, category tags, action items, and deal comparisons for Consumer inboxes. These features are provided for convenience only. AI summaries may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should always refer to the original Mail Item for authoritative content. DMB is not liable for decisions made based solely on AI-generated summaries.

10. Availability and Service Levels

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances outside our reasonable control (force majeure events including natural disasters, government actions, or third-party infrastructure failures).

We will endeavour to provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance where reasonably practicable.

11. Termination

By you

Consumers may delete their account at any time from the account settings page or by contacting us. Businesses may close their account by contacting us. Unused credits are subject to the refund policy in Section 7.

By us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. We may also terminate accounts that have been inactive for more than 24 consecutive months, with 30 days' prior email notice.

Effect of termination

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. We will handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

DMB does not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DMB AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO DMB IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 USD.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DMB and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Delaware. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, send you an in-app notification or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service before the effective date.
